SYNOPSIS – MUSICAL

This 1980 Tony Award winning musical is a fabulous song and tap show – that also happens to be a show within a show. In 1933 Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York City just in time to become part of a Broadway hit in the making – but not without a lot of dedication, hard work, talent, AND being in the right place at the right time. AND of course, there is also a love story. Set during the Great Depression, 42nd STREET is filled with lots of tapping and famous musical numbers including “We’re in the Money,” “You’re Getting to Be a Habit with Me,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” and the title song, “42nd Street”.
